Can I use a bundt pan in place of a round cake pan?

I want to bake a cake but in a bundt pan to make it look better. Do I have to change the recipe or cooking time to suit the pan, or can I just put a 20" round cake recipe into the bundt pan?

of course u can
but not all the batter may fit in it
baking time is less i believe
check the back of a betty crocker/duncan hines box to make sure the time

nope you do not have to change the recipe just make sure to either spray the bundt pan with like a baking non stick spray or butter. and then just add your mixture… the acctual pan does not really matter! good luck!

It takes a little longer to cook, and if the bundt pan may leak the cake mix over the top if it is not large enough. That is the only thing about those pans. I made a Hershey’s Chocolate cake, and the batter was too much for a bundt pan, and it ran over into my oven. What a mess. Do not fill it too full and cook it a little bit longer until the top springs back when touched.
